"Keep Down I got 'em!"	Sudden Death!	"Hold on, make sure he's down!"
"Let's keep moving!"	"The Krauts are falling back to the woodline!"	A .30 caliber machine gun mows down several Germans as they retreat into the forest.
Blistering fire ensues, casualties on both sides are massive.	"We're going over the hill boys!, Ready? COVERING FIRE!"	The German forces cannot hold the American soldiers back.
"GO GO GO!"	"Follow Me!"	The German line crumbles.
"ATTACK!"	The brave often pay the highest price.	A U.S. Commando takes cover in the thin cover of the forest's edge.

       The combat photographer, Lt. Jimmy Halloran was killed in the dramatic charge down the steep embankment by a suprize enemy mortar attack along with 15 other American commandos. But the invaders would not be able to regain their foothold on American soil and by the next morning all but a few stragglers had surrendered. The Invasion averted, the enemy captured after more than two thirds of their numbers died in the terrible battle.
